Blind Teacher, Nikesh Madare, Achieves Ph.D. on Mahatma Gandhi

In a remarkable achievement, Nikesh Madare, a blind teacher from Jalna, has overcome numerous challenges to earn a Ph.D. on Mahatma Gandhi. The 36-year-old educator, driven by the goal to dispel misconceptions about the capabilities of visually impaired individuals, embarked on this academic journey to showcase that blind people are equally competent in any field.

Dr.Nikesh is a government teacher who studied at Deogiri College, Aurangabad. He attended Shri M.S. Jain High School in Jalna and currently resides in Jalna, Maharashtra.

Despite the lack of Braille study materials, Nikesh utilized audiobooks, videos, and assistance from readers to navigate his research. His chosen topic delves into the relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s principle of non-violence.
