UCEED 2024 Update: Admit Card Release on January 5, Exam on January 21, Syllabus, Preparation Tips, and More
UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design) is a computer-based admissions examination for the Bachelor of Design. It is national level entrance exam. Based on the results of this examination, admissions are provided at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati and IIITDM Jabalpur. The test is of 3 hrs. duration and is conducted in month of January every year. Merely appearing for UCEED evaluation or gaining a place in the UCEED ranking list does not guarantee admission to Bachelor of designing programs. Candidates who qualify for UCEED must apply separately for admission in accordance with the IIT Bombay procedure. BDes admissions are conducted based on merit in each category and the merit is prepared based on the scores obtained by students in written entrance examination. Competition is extremely high in the entrance review of this exam.
The UCEED Entrance Exam for 2024, hosted by IIT Bombay, is scheduled for January 21, 2024, from 9 am to 12 noon.
The examination will adhere to a revised UCEED 2024 syllabus and pattern. Notably, Part A will consist of 57 questions (reduced from 68), while Part B will now feature two questions (increased from one) in accordance with the updated UCEED exam pattern.
Admit cards for UCEED 2024 will be available for download starting January 5, 2024. The direct link to obtain the admit card will be provided on this page.
Candidates are required to bring their admit card and a photo ID proof on the day of the UCEED exam.
The UCEED 2024 results are set to be announced on March 8, 2024.
It’s important to note that Part B answer booklets will undergo evaluation only if the candidate qualifies in Part A. The scorecard for candidates passing Part A will include merit ranks and Part B scores, in addition to Part A scores. For those who do not qualify, the scorecard will only reflect Part A marks.
IIT Bombay will unveil the cut-off marks for Part A on February 8, 2024.
