What do we do most every day! Surfing the internet and thus search engines have become an important part of our daily lives already. Be it search for the best coffee shop, a nice dining place or study research we do it all through different search engines. People are now overwhelmingly dependent on search engines to get answers to their everyday questions. The Search Engine is a well-developed system that searches for objects in the database and recognizes them. The data will originate from the words corresponding to the user’s specified keywords/characters, used specifically for finding specific sites on the World Wide Web.
In addition to Google and Bing, other search engines may not be so famous but still support thousands of search requests every day. Further, in today’s blog, we would be knowing about more search engines which provides personalized user experience.


Google:

As always it had been in top ranking of search engines. Google is popular with its powerful algorithms, dominant advertising platform and personalized user interface, becoming one of the world’s most popular search engines. Being able to deliver the best quality of search results have made it the most popular one. It has been found by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Over the years Google ranking algorithm has been improved with hundreds of other variables including the aid of machine learning and remains the most accurate way of discovering exactly what you’re searching for on the Internet.


Bing:

Bing has a system of perks allowing one to gain points while searching. Microsoft and Windows stores will exchange these points, which is a nice advantage. This search engine was introduced by Microsoft’s as an attempt to challenge Google in search. It has been switching its provider between Bing and Google. Yahoo! Platform is again offered exclusively by Bing as of October 2019. Yahoo also makes selection-based search optional for its users one can enable or disable the options when necessary also its search results are considered more reliable.


Baidu:

Ranked in 4th position according to Alexa’s ranking. It was founded in 2000 and is most popular in China. It offers an index of over 740 million web pages with 80 million images and 10 million multimedia files along with multimedia content such as music and movies in different formats. While Baidu is available worldwide, it is available only in Chinese. Baidu is a strong option if you are interested in appealing to the Asian market.
Ask.com: In comparison with Bing and Yahoo, Ask is definitely a more modest choice. Nonetheless, Ask.com is special in its questions and answers style and was previously known as Ask Jeeves. Ask has very original algorithms, that favours expertise on a topic over popularity, although most of Ask’s supported search results are driven by Google. Some of its unique features are “smart answers” which uses languages to search queries.

The clean interface and search page are available in DuckDuckGo, which makes navigation simpler than other search engines.
