New Delhi — The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Pravartak Technologies Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education’s SWAYAM Plus platform, has announced the launch of a new AI-enabled HR Analytics programme aimed at equipping students and working professionals with advanced skills in data-driven human resource management and artificial intelligence. The first cohort is scheduled to begin in January 2026, with registrations open online until December 30, 2025.
The four-month certification programme, delivered primarily online with two days of on-campus learning at IIT Madras, combines foundational HR concepts with advanced analytics and AI applications. The curriculum includes modules on workforce data analysis, HR dashboards, predictive modelling, key HR metrics, and AI-driven insights to strengthen organisational talent strategies, workforce planning, and evidence-based decision-making. Participants will also complete a hands-on HR Analytics capstone project designed to provide practical, industry-focused experience.
According to the official course information, the programme will provide in-depth knowledge of reporting, analytics techniques, and AI-driven workforce transformation, helping learners apply data insights to real-world HR challenges. It is structured to build competencies in analytics tools, machine learning-based models, and strategic HR decision support — skills increasingly in demand as workplaces evolve into highly digital, technology-enabled environments.
The programme is targeted at students, entry- to mid-level HR practitioners, aspiring HR leaders and professionals from sectors such as aviation, technology, and services, offering a blend of academic rigour and industry relevance through sessions led by IIT Madras faculty and experienced practitioners.
